Surveys and participation in research

We are always interested in your experience with Drumclip and our services. In the future, we may ask you to complete a survey or participate in a study.

Website usage

We automatically store information such as your originating and destination URLs, browser type, IP address, and access date/time. We also collect hardware/software/browser data. This info is used for operational purposes and may be released in aggregated form, making individual identification impossible. We're not interested in personal identity, only usage patterns (e.g., number of visitors, peak times, popular pages).

Data we receive from third parties

Sometimes, we receive your data from others. For example, when you place an order via one of our strategic partners or distributors, they may share your delivery details so we can ship the Drumclip directly to you.
Any data we receive from third parties may be combined with data you have already provided.

What are the legal bases for processing your data?

Necessary for the performance of a contract
When processing your personal data, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means there is always a legal basis for processing your data. In most cases, this basis is the necessity to perform a contract. We need your data to fulfill the agreement between you and us.

Legitimate interests
We process data to send surveys, conduct research, send newsletters, and handle interactions with staff. This supports ongoing service improvements and relationship-building.

Legal obligations
Some data must be processed to comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax law).

Consent
If we wish to collect more data than legally necessary, we will always ask for your explicit consent first.

To whom do we disclose your personal data?

If our strategic partners or local distributors can maintain a better relationship with you, we may share your data with them — but only the data necessary to fulfill our contract or support the relationship.

We may also use third-party services (e.g. IT providers, survey platforms, safety solution vendors) to help manage our systems and services. We ensure these parties handle your data properly.

In case of non-payment, we may forward necessary data to a debt collection agency or bailiff. We are also legally required to provide certain data to government authorities such as the Dutch Tax Administration.
Cookie-related data may be shared with the relevant cookie providers.

How long do we retain your data?

We don’t store your data longer than necessary for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy — unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

Financial data
We retain our financial records for 10 years. This includes all documents and data related to transactions between you and Drumclip (Invago B.V. or Geba Group B.V.).

Contact records
Contacts with our employees are deleted within 14 days unless they are relevant to our or your interests.
Emails and complaints are stored for a maximum of 10 years.

Where do we store your data?

Your data is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA), with the exception of your name and email address. These may also be hosted in the United States and Canada.
Appropriate safeguards include binding corporate rules, approved standard contractual clauses, and EU-approved privacy agreements with our partners.

In addition to legal requirements, Drumclip follows best practices as they develop for SMEs through policy and practical guidance.
